Fund-raiser Car Wash for Riley Severs – at the Hostess Bakery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Riley leaves for Boston June 15 for treatment for a rare blood disorder. Blue Creek Safari – Three-hour nature hike to the Wallace L. Forest Conservation area outside of Coeur d’Alene, with bird, plant, animal and history specialists; $35 includes lunch; free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult. Poker Ride at Pee Wee Creek – This is an annual fund-raiser for the Priest River Valley Back Country Horsemen with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Barbecue lunch is included for $15 for adults, and $7 for ages 17 and under. Take Highway 57 North out of Priest River for 3.5 miles to Peninsula Road. Turn right and proceed 4.5 miles to Forest Road No. 334, turn left onto the gravel road and proceed one mile.
