Fund-raiser Car Wash for Riley Severs – at the Hostess Bakery from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Riley leaves for Boston June 15 for treatment for a rare blood disorder. A Day in the Park With Louie – The annual show by the Lake City Harmonizers will be held in the Coeur d’Alene High School auditorium with performances at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; $11 for the matinee; $12.50 in the evening with discounts for seniors and students. Custom Car Show at the Kootenai County Fairgrounds – Be no later than 10:30 a.m. to enter a car; show begins at 11 a.m. Prizes will be awarded. $3. Show will be in the south midway, adjacent to Kathleen Ave.

Stained-glass Class – Begins from 9 a.m.-noon for three consecutive Saturdays, at Riverview Stained Glass and Crafts, 7132 Riverview Drive; $95. Must call 667-0359 to sign up.

Race Unity Day Celebration – from noon until 3 p.m. in the Coeur d’Alene City Park/Bandshell, sponsored by the Baha’is of Coeur d’Alene. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy beverages and cake, entertainment and other activities suitable for all ages.

Book signing by Dennis Nicholls – The author will be at Vanderford’s Books, 201 Cedar in Sandpoint, 1-4 p.m. with a reading at 2 p.m. His latest book is “Trails of the Wild Selkirks.” Information: 263-3573.

17th annual Post Falls Duathlon – Help is needed for packet pick-up and race set-up from noon-4 p.m., and Sunday from 6 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for race setup, food area, water stations and race course assistance. To help, call the Post Falls Parks and Recreation at 773-0539.

Blue Creek Safari – Three-hour nature hike to the Wallace L. Forest Conservation area outside of Coeur d’Alene, with bird, plant, animal and history specialists; $35 includes lunch; free for children under 12 accompanied by an adult. Poker Ride at Pee Wee Creek – This is an annual fund-raiser for the Priest River Valley Back Country Horsemen with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. Barbecue lunch is included for $15 for adults, and $7 for ages 17 and under. Take Highway 57 North out of Priest River for 3.5 miles to Peninsula Road. Turn right and proceed 4.5 miles to Forest Road No. 334, turn left onto the gravel road and proceed one mile. Summer Sounds at the Park – Noon to 2 p.m., Backstreet Dixie will perform in the park at 330 N. First Ave. in Sandpoint.

Softball Tournament – The Kootenai County Juvenile Justice mentoring program tournament, allows the youths an opportunity to interact with those involved in the Juvenile Justice System on a more personal and friendly basis. The action takes place at Frederick Post Fields, Post Falls, Sunday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., ending with dinner and an awards ceremony.
