6 p.m., council chambers, hearing on transient shelter ordinance; also resolution declaring damage at city sewer plant as an emergency and allowing for salvage and demolition contracts without competitive bidding.

Spokane County Commission

Tuesday, 9 a.m., weekly meeting with the county’s CEO, Spokane County Courthouse, 1116 W. Broadway Ave.

2 p.m., weekly meeting on non-hearing items, Public Works Building, 1026 W. Broadway Ave.

5 p.m., meeting on hearing items, including Phase 2 development regulations.

Thursday, 9 a.m., deliberations on proposed Comprehensive Plan amendments, Public Works Building.

Spokane Historic Landmarks Commission

Wednesday, 2:30 p.m., City Council briefing center, lower level of Spokane City Hall, review of nominations for Robinwood Apartments, 203 W. Ninth, and Brooks House, 723 W. Sumner. Also, review of certificate of appropriateness for McCornack House, 219 E. Ninth.

Spokane Public Library Board of Trustees

Wednesday, 4:30 p.m., Downtown Library, Room 1B, agenda at meeting.

Spokane Parking Public Development Authority

Thursday, 11 a.m., fifth-floor conference room, Spokane City Hall, agenda at meeting.

Spokane Valley City Council

Council will not meet Tuesday. Its members will be attending an Association of Washington Cities conference in Ocean Shores.

Spokane Valley community meeting regarding the comprehensive land-use plan, 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at Valley Church of the Nazarene, 15515 E. 20th Ave. The public is invited to share ideas for how the city should look 20 years from now.
