Support of Q’emiln Quest’ appreciated

On behalf of the membership and board of the Post Falls Historical Society, I would like to extend special thanks to the following for their support of the recent “Q’emiln Quest” as part of National Historic Preservation Month in Post Falls.

The city of Post Falls, Mayor Clay Larkin, the Parks and Recreation Department, Linden Lampman, Post Falls School District 273, Becky Ford and Barney Brewton, the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, Raymond Brinkman, Felix Aripa, Joe and Daisy Mullen and family, the Rose Creek Sunset Singers, Post Falls Historical Society members and board of directors, Awards Etc., Pro Sound and the Idaho Humanities Council.

We were happy to share this outdoor education opportunity with the fourth-grade students of Seltice Elementary, Prairie View Elementary, Ponderosa Elementary, Mullan Trail Elementary and the Post Falls Christian Academy.

In order for our history to survive, it must be shared and passed down to our children. Thank you for sharing our oldest history. We appreciate the hard work, perseverance and abilities of those who have lived here before us.

President, Post Falls Historical Society

Gary Schneidmiller and Linda Wilhelm of parade sponsor Coldwell Banker/Schneidmiller Realty in Post Falls, made it an extra special event this year. Connemara Reisinger and Marisa Hatcher at the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce, Kagey Co., Brian Walker of the Post Falls Press, Joe Doellefeld of Stateline Speedway, Prairie Falls Golf Course, CdA Cart Service, Post Falls Mazda, Knutdsen Chevrolet, Post Falls Police Department and Post Falls Street Department were all key to our success.

Despite gray skies on parade day, the sun continued to shine on our wonderful community, where a little bit or even a lot of rain failed to dampen spirits. You’re the best!
