“Pie a la Mode” The Coeur d’Alene chorus of Sweet Adelines International will perform beginning at 2 p.m. at the Lake City Senior Center, 1916 N. Lakewood Drive. Coeur d’Alene Youth Orchestra Spring Concert Monday at 7 p.m. in Boswell Hall’s Schuler Auditorium on the North Idaho College Campus, conducted by Gerard Mathes. The orchestra consists of students in grades six through eight. For more information visit www.cdayo.org.

“The Barbarian Invasions” – Winner of the best foreign film Oscar, will be screened Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint at 7:30 p.m.; $6 adults, $5 seniors and students under 18. Information: 263-9191.

Colgate Country Showdown – The deadline to enter is Friday for this event to be held at the Coeur d’Alene Casino on May 27 at 7 p.m. Aspiring country singers and musicians are invited to compete in this talent contest. “The Secret Garden” – Opens Friday at the Lake City Playhouse with a pre-show gala at 7 p.m. with curtain time at 8 p.m. The play continues Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 2 p.m., then May 27-29 and June 3-5. Curtain times are Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. $14 adults, $12 seniors/students, $8 for children under 10. Information: 667-1323.

“Dance Till you Drop” – Friday at the Post Falls High School, 2832 E. Poleline Ave, from 6-9 p.m with music by “Dance Street Productions.” This event is sponsored by the Riverbend Professional-Technical Academy; $5 per person. Moscow Arts Commission summer band Area musicians are invited to join the band which will be under the direction of Gary Gemberling. The first rehearsal will be June 1 at 7 p.m. in room 216 at the Lionel Hampton Music Building, corner of Sweet and Blake on the University of Idaho campus. Really Big Raffle Open House – Today from noon to 4 p.m. at the house, 2669 Bolivar Ave. in Coeur d’Alene Place. Tickets are $100 and will be available for purchase at the home. The raffle benefits the North Idaho College Foundation. The home was built by NIC carpentry students. Information: 769-3271.

Second Annual Wild Game and Pork Roast Feast will be held Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the Blanchard Inn Restaurant on Highway 41 in Blanchard. This fund-raiser for Blanchard area Seniors Inc., will feature a buffet of wild meats, domestic pork and a variety of salads and vegetables. Suggested donation is $8 at the door. There will also be a silent auction of new and used sporting goods.
