Here Come Da Sun Beach Party – 10 a.m., at the Priest Lake State Park at Indian Creek. Bring your watercrafts decorated like Hawaiian war canoes for the lake parade at noon. Music, dancing, and food available for purchase. $4 for a carload or boatload of people.

Coeur d’Alene Ballroom Spectacular – Today through Sunday at the Coeur d’Alene Resort. The competition also includes many dance workshops including instruction in Foxtrot, Waltz, Eastcoast Swing, Cha-Cha and more. Single sessions are $15. 2003 U.S. Classic Showdance champions Nicholas Kosovich and Lena Bakhtcheva will appear.
