Really Big Raffle Deadline – The deadline for automatic entry into the early bird drawing for a 36-inch color TV and a DVD/VHS player is today. Tickets are $100 each and only 4,000 will be sold. The grand prize drawing on July 7 is for a $200,000 home built by the North Idaho College carpentry students. Information: 769-3271.

Sailboat Dedication – Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Sunspot on the beach at North Idaho College. Two 14-foot Hobie Cat sailboats dedicated to NIC’s Outdoor Pursuits by the Kohli family in memory of NIC alumnus Ken Kohli will be dedicated. The event features free one-hour rentals of all Outdoor Pursuits beach equipment all day. Information: 769-7809.

Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission – Garfield Bay water and sewer district is seeking a conditional use permit for a public utility complex facility to allow for the expansion of the existing sewage disposal system. The meeting will be held Thursday at the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First, Sandpoint. At 6 p.m. they will discuss a zone change request for a conditional use permit for a commercial/private retreat for children with disabilities requested by George and Elizabeth McKinnon.
