The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents. The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly.

Low-income family with disabilities needs one twin mattress and one full mattress. Contact Heather at Children’s Home Society, 747-4174.

Family moving into housing needs full-size bed and bedding, twin bed and bedding, pots, pans, dishes, linens, couch, dining room set, lamps, TV, towels and wash cloths, dressers, cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. Contact Sheri at YWCA, 326-1190, ext. 152.

Low-income single mother with two children needs four studded snow tires, P225-60R16. Contact Kira at ECEAP, 228-4541.

Low-income family of seven needs dining room table and chairs, twin bunk bed frame, two twin mattresses, queen mattress, queen bed frame, dressers, couch/love seat, play pen, crib, changing table and diapers for newborn. Contact Kira at ECEAP, 228-4541.

The homeless children at the YWCA need gently-used or new jeans, size 7 slim to 12 girls, 7 slim to 14 boys, men’s jeans 30x30, 32x34, 34x32, 36x30, 38x34. Other clothing also needed. Contact Sheri at YWCA, 326-1190, ext. 132.
