Wine tasting, auction at St. George’s

Fine wines from throughout the Northwest will be featured at St. George’s fourth annual Vines of Dionysus wine tasting and vintage wine auction from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Davenport House on the St. George’s campus, 2929 W. Waikiki Road.

Wine selections include wines from Barrister Winery, Dunham Cellars, Grande Ronde Cellars, Isenhower Cellars, K Vintners, Kestrel Vintners, L’Ecole No. 41, Mountain Dome Winery, Pepper Bridge Winery, Portteus Vineyards, Robert Karl Cellars, Seven Hills Winery, Walla Walla Vintners and Wineglass Cellars.

Poinsettias for sale

The Mt. Spokane High School Booster Club will be selling poinsettias to benefit the athletic programs at the school.

The plants are available in 6, 8 or 10-inch pot sizes, in red, white, jingle bell and burgundy. Prices are $10 for the 6-inch size, $20 for the 8-inch size and $25 for the 10-inch size. Orders of three or more will receive a $5 discount off the total order. Orders will be taken through Dec. 1, by calling Gary Ranney at 879-5974 or 468-0624.

Poinsettias can be picked up in the Mt. Spokane Atrium from 1 to 7 p.m. Dec. 8. Orders of 10 or more plants will be delivered after 3 p.m. Dec. 8.
