“The Phantom” – Continues today at the Lake City Playhouse, 1320 E. Garden, with curtain time at 8 p.m. This is based on the book by Arthur Kopit and is the predecessor to “Phantom of the Opera.” Additional show Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets: $14 adults, $12 seniors, $12 students, $8 children. “Gint” – today and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in Schuler Auditorium in Boswell Hall at North Idaho College. This NIC theater production is about a character that lies and seduces his way through life until he has to confront his actions. Directed by Joe Jacoby and starring Giuseppi Romano. “The Diviners” - Continues today and Saturday at 7 p.m. in the Lake City High School Auditorium, presented by Troupe de Wolfe productions, directed by Sandra Seaton. The play takes place in a southern Indiana town of Zion during the dust bowl. Cost: $5 adults, $4 students and seniors and $3 with Lake City ASB card and children under 12. Information: 769-0769.
“Garden State” - This romantic comedy with Natalie Portman, Zach Braff and Ian Holm will be shown today and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Panida Theater in Sandpoint; $6 adults, $5 seniors and students under 18. Information: 263-9191.
Artist Showing - Kieran Tobin from Galway, Ireland, an internationally known artist, will be at the Timber Stand Gallery in Sandpoint, today from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from noon-3 p.m. The gallery is on the Cedar Street Bridge in downtown Sandpoint. Refreshments will be served.

Pancake Feed in conjunction with University of Idaho Homecoming - Saturday at 7:30 a.m. at the Fire Station on Sixth and Main. $2, or $3 with sausage. Proceeds help local firefighters. This event precedes the homecoming parade which begins at 9:30 a.m.
“Yesterday’s Tommorrows: Past Visions of the American Future” – Saturday is the last day to see this traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institute at the Hayden Library. Stop by between 1-3 p.m. for refreshments, prizes, crafts and face-painting for kids. Information: 772-5612.
