Danny Klocko has been hired at Valley Hospital and Medical Center as the human resource manager. Klocko was previously employed as a human resource manager at UPS in Phoenix. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona and his master’s degree from Webster University in St. Louis.

Dr. Chad McCormick has joined Drs. Robert Farr and Ronald Stout at Ear, Nose & Throat of Coeur d’Alene. He is a graduate of Washington State University and the University of Utah School of Medicine and recently completed a five-year residency at the Ohio State University Medical Center.

Huppin Ewing Anderson & Paul has hired Ryan Goodell as an associate attorney. Goodell is a graduate of Washington State University and Gonzaga University and his practice will focus on business and commercial matters.

Blue Water Technologies has hired Mark Lopp in its operations staff. Lopp holds a class IV wastewater operator’s license and previously worked at Cityforest Corp. in Wisconsin.

Chastity Kohlman has been hired as an administrative assistant at Blue Water Technologies. She previously worked at Wells & Company as an accounts payable specialist.

LandAmerica/Transnation Title and Escrow has hired Bob Ball as an account manager. Ball has more than 26 years of experience in real estate sales, appraising, development and title services.

OneEighty Networks, a Spokane-based telecommunications company, has hired Tim Robinson as a field technician at its Bend, Ore. regional office. Robinson has over 30 years of experience at US West and Qwest.

Jill Connelly has been hired as an agent at Keller Williams Realty in Spokane. She is a real estate investor and is the owner/operator of J.C. Enterprises Lead Abatement.

The Spokane office of Keller Williams Realty has hired Lori Sowl as an agent. Sowl was previously a radio and television personality in Spokane and is a real estate investor.

Andy Rowe has been hired as a project engineer at DCI Engineers. He is a recent graduate of California Polytechnic State University with a degree in science and civil engineering.

Valley Hospital and Medical Center has hired Meridee Mosher as the nurse manager in the Intensive Care and Progressive Care units. Mosher has been in the nursing field for over 19 years and previously worked at St. James Community Hospital in Butte. She is a graduate of Regents College of New York and the University of Phoenix.

The Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Art Acuff as a sales associate. He was previously a sales associate with John L. Scott Real Estate in Cle Elum, Wash.

Kathy Dale has been hired as a sales associate at the Palouse office of Windermere Real Estate. Dale was previously an administrative assistant for Spokane County and is the former owner of the Wooden Goose in Walla Walla.

PROMOTED

The Spokane office of BDO Seidman has recently promoted Kevin Flerchinger, a certified public accountant, to assurance manager. Flerchinger is a graduate of the University of Idaho and has been with the company since 2001.

Gretchen Brebner, a certified public accountant at BDO Seidman in Spokane, has been promoted to assurance senior associate. Brebner holds a master’s degree from the University of Idaho and has been with the company since 2002.

The Spokane office of BDO Seidman has promoted Jennifer Thomas, a certified public accountant, to tax senior associate. Thomas holds a degree from Gonzaga University and has been with the company since 2002.

Robert Blume of Washington Trust Bank has promoted Robert Blume to manager of the Wealth Management and Advisory Sales Department. Blume, who has been with the bank since 1987, is a vice president and was previously a senior trust officer in that department.

The Washington State Hotel and Lodging Association has recognized Dean Feldmeier of the Spokane Doubletree with the Outstanding General Manager: Large Properties award.

Wendle Motors Inc. has been awarded a Northwest Washington Family Business of the Year award for best medium business by the Family Enterprise Institute of Pacific Lutheran University’s School of Business.

GIFTS

The Allstate Foundation has granted Junior Achievement of the Inland Northwest $15,000. The funds will support an Allstate Junior Achievement Day at Greenacres Elementary School.
