Candy Cane Crawl – Explore Downtown Spokane’s holiday season with a walk sponsored by the Spokane Parks and Recreation Department, Dec. 17, 7-9 p.m. Participants will also hand out candy canes to selected downtown apartments and agencies. Dachshund Club of Spokane Holiday Party – Dec. 18, 4 p.m. at the Lilac City Dog Training Club, 1612 E. Houston. Includes potluck dinner, dog games, wiener dog races, intro to agility dog classes, holiday photos with pets, and more. Daschshund Rescue Northwest and other area shelters will be on-site with pets available for adoption. Donations will be accepted, admission is by potluck dish and serving settings.
