Kootenai County Democratic Club Luncheon will be at noon at the Iron Horse Restaurant. Tony Stewart will do an election analysis. Information: 777-1588.

Christmas Parade and Fireworks Parade will be at 5 p.m. on Sherman Avenue; lighting ceremony follows on the front lawn of the Coeur d’Alene Resort, with fireworks show from four barges in front of the resort.

Festival of Trees – Unveiling will follow the the lighting ceremony inside the Coeur d’Alene Resort. Cost: $2 adults, $1 children.

“A Letter to True” This Bruce Weber film will be shown at the Panida Theater, today and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Cost: $6 adults, $5 seniors and students. Information: 263-9191.

Upcoming

Santa Parade at the Silver Lake Mall Saturday, 9 a.m., will begin at the main entrance by the food court. There will be a light breakfast, and Santa will read for the children. Donations for the Children’s Miracle Network will be accepted.

Family Day at the Coeur d’Alene Resort Sunday, children’s choirs will be performing from 11 a.m.-6 p.m.; admission is $1. Children’s workshops will be set up in the Plaza Shops with holiday craft projects for 25 cents each.
