Associated Press

Travis Lulay threw a touchdown pass and ran for another as Montana State came from behind to beat Idaho State 17-13 Saturday in Pocatello, Idaho.

The Bobcats (2-2, 1-0 Big Sky) trailed 13-10 early in the fourth quarter when Lulay found Eddie Sullivan near the sidelines. Sullivan broke a tackle and went 55 yards for the game-winning score.

Idaho State (1-4, 0-2) got the ball back for a final drive with 2 minutes, 18 seconds left, but Mark Hetherington’s fourth-and-3 pass was broken up by Epikopo King.

The Bengals were able to move the ball, but had trouble punching it into the end zone. In three different chances inside the Bobcats 20-yard line, Idaho State came away with three total points.

Lulay completed 18 of 30 passes for 247 yards and one touchdown.

Hetherington racked up 348 yards and one touchdown on 24-of-52 passing.

Ochs led Montana through five scoring drives on the night, while the Grizzlies’ defense forced three turnovers that ended promising Weber State drives.

Montana put the game out of reach in the third quarter with an 11-yard touchdown run by Justin Green and 3-yard TD pass from Ochs to Tate Hancock.

Nick Chournos led the Wildcats with 129 yards on 34 carries, while Mike Mathis added 114 yards on four receptions.
