Hispanic heritage dinners – In observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Hispanic/Latino Resource Center, El Centro de Spokane, will host a benefit dinner Friday, 6-8 p.m. at the East Central Community Center, 500 S. Stone. Reservations must be made by Sunday by calling 455-6706. The theme of the evening will be a Latin Festival and will include Hispanic arts, crafts, music, guest speaker.
