Alateen – meets in Coeur d’Alene on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Room One. For information, call Barb at 665-7311 or Ana at 762-1535.

Al-Anon – a nonprofit support group for family members and friends of substance abusers, meets Mondays at 6 p.m. at Country Club Lane and Main Street in Pinehurst; Tuesdays at 8 p.m., and Wednesdays at noon and 5 p.m. at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 625 E. Haycraft; and Fridays at noon at Kootenai Medical Center, Classroom 1. Call for information, (208) 676-0549.

Alzheimer’s Support Group – meets the third Saturday of every month from 1:30-3 p.m. in the Kootenai Medical Center’s classrooms. Contact (208) 772-2542.

The AMEND Center – a comprehensive educational, treatment and support center for men, located in the Courthouse Plaza, 520 Government Way, in Coeur d’Alene. Information: 665-2432.

Anger Management Class – meets at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Amend Center, 520 Government Way, in Coeur d’Alene. Information: 666-2030.

Amputee Support Group – meets at 6:30 p.m. the last Wednesday of the month at the Kootenai Medical Center classrooms. Information: 666-2030.

Arthritis Support Group – meets at 7-8:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at Kootenai Medical Center. Information: 666-2030.

Batterer Treatment – Classes are at 7:15 p.m. Mondays and 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Amend Center, 520 Government Way, Coeur d’Alene. Information: 665-2432.

Bereavement Support Group – for those who have lost loved ones, meets from 1-2:30 p.m. Tuesdays at Kootenai Medical Center. Information: 666-3285.

Bereaved Parents of the USA – Coeur d’Alene Chapter a support group offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents and families who have experienced the death of a child. Meets third Thursdays of the month, St. Piux X Roman Catholic Church, 6250 E. Haycraft Road, Coeur d’Alene. Call (208) 765-1705 for more information.
