ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) Group – facilitated by Audrey Burr, A.C.S.W. meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month, 3 p.m. 140 S. Arthur, fifth floor conference room. Call 533-5470.

Alzheimer’s Support Group – Contact the Inland Northwest Alzheimer’s Association at 483-8456 for locations and times in Spokane, Grant and Whitman counties.

Alzheimer’s Support Group, South Hill – The Waterford on the South Hill hosts meetings the third Wednesday, 1-2:30 p.m. Call Kelle Madden at 536-2929.

Alzheimer’s Support Group – Meets the third Monday of every month from 1:30-3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 318 S. Cedar St. For information call 747-1085.

Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Caregiver Support Group – meets the fist Monday of every month from 7-8:30 p.m. at the North Spokane Library, 44 E. Hawthorne Road. Contact Lisa Markham at 484-2345.

American Family Rights Association – Support meetings online and in Washington state. Families with difficulties involving child custody cases of children placed in the care of the Department of Children and Family Services are invited to participate. Better Breathers Meeting – Sponsored by the American Lung association, this support group for adults with lung conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, COPD or pulmonary fibrosis meets on the first Thursday of every month at 1 p.m. at the East Central Community Center, 500 S. Bereavement Support Group – Presented by the Providence Center for Faith and Healing, the next bereavement support group starts in September. For information as well as times and places call 474-3008.
