Incorrect power plant value
Due to incorrect information provided to the newspaper, the value of a power plant in Oregon owned partially by Avista was incorrect on Oct. 16. The Coyote Springs II plant cost $190 million to develop. A company spokesman also said he misspoke when he stated that Avista’s plan to purchase half of that power plant from another company should not impact customer rates. If the purchase goes through, it could contribute to a rate hike, he said.
Name misspelled in obituary
