The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane.

If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.

• Low-income single mother who is hearing impaired needs two dressers, single bed, sheets and blankets, vacuum cleaner, closed-caption TV set, flashing alarm clock and tapes of Christian music. Contact Carrie at Transitional Living Center, 323-9112.

• Single low-income mother needs a dresser. Contact Margarita at Summit View, 324-9161.

• Single low-income mother needs a queen box mattress and microwave oven. Contact Margarita at Summit View, 324-9161.
