Candidates left out

A list of uncontested candidates for legislative office in the 7th District was omitted from a story in Wednesday’s Spokesman-Review. Republican Bob Sump and Libertarian Dave Wordinger are running unopposed in their respective Sept. 14 primaries for position 1. Democrat Yvette Joseph is unopposed for position 2, though Dennis Kelley appears on the ballot. Kelley has withdrawn from the race.

Food booth misidentified

Because of incorrect information supplied to the newspaper, a story about Pig Out in the Park in Wednesday’s IN Food section misidentified the Eldon’s Original booth. Eldon’s Original is not affiliated with Sonnenberg’s Market.

Chris Drahos is sous chef at resort

The Fresh Sheet column in Wednesday’s IN Food section contained incorrect information about Chris Drahos, due to a reporter’s error. Drahos is a sous chef at Hidden Lakes Golf Resort.

‘Producers’ starts Sept. 21

Because of an added show, the touring Broadway production of “The Producers” will begin Sept. 21 at the Spokane Opera House. Based on original information provided to the newspaper, the date was incorrect in a photo caption and schedule in Thursday’s IN Life section.

Institution name incorrect

Dorothy Detlor is dean of the Washington State University College of Nursing. A column in the Business section incorrectly named the institution Thursday.

Performance time wrong

Due to incorrect information provided to the newspaper, Thursday’s Valley Voice listed the wrong time for a Spokane Symphony performance at Liberty Lake’s Pavillion Park. The concert begins at 6 p.m. Saturday.

Jacki Putnam having art show

Jacki Putnam is having an art show at Studio 901 Gallery, 901 W. Garland Ave. Because of a reporter’s error, her name was incorrectly listed in Thursday’s Visual Arts column.
