Professor honored for teaching teachers
Betty Williams, professor of education and coordinator of the special education program for the Whitworth College School of Education, has received the 2004 Excellence in Teacher Preparation Award.
The award recognizes educators in a teacher-preparation program approved by the state Board of Education by acknowledging excellence in teaching, as well as giving credit to innovative teacher-preparation techniques.
