Frank and Lena Windishar celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering of family and friends Aug. 7 at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Jess Walter, Spokane.

Other hosts for the event were their children and spouses: Mary and Larry Nickell, Alameda Calif.; Tom and Debbie Windishar, and Kathleen and Mark Tatham, all of Spokane; Tynna and Jeff Jones, Sunnyvale, Calif.; and Melinda Windishar, Las Vegas.

The couple were married Sept. 11, 1954, in Spokane at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church. They have 12 grandchildren.
