Numbers came from company

A Sept. 2 story about the Spokane Valley Library may have implied that a city staff member calculated the city could save 20 percent of operating costs if it privatized library services. The staff member was relaying information from a company interested in the contract.

disABILITY Fest details wrong

In Monday’s Kids’ Corner calendar in In Life, details of disABILITY Fest were incorrect. The event is Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. An art gallery will be open Friday from 4-7 p.m.

Jobless rate wrong in chart

A chart in Wednesday’s Business section showed an incorrect August jobless rate for Spokane County. The rate should be 5.5 percent.
