Hunting season wrong

The Idaho bull elk hunting season for using “any weapon” in the Selway zone is Oct. 1-31. A story in Thursday’s Hunting 2004 section incorrectly indicated the season was only for archers. The long list of different seasons and exceptions is on the Web at http://fishandgame.idaho.gov/

A-1 Headline wrong

A headline on the front page of Thursday’s Spokesman-Review incorrectly indicated that the county is seeking an emergency medical services levy. The levy is being sought by the city of Spokane.

Phone number wrong

Due to a clerical error, the phone number to call for reservations for the Interfaith Council Celebration that appeared in yesterday’s North and South Side Voices was incorrect. The number to call is 329-1410.

Name misspelled

Due to a clerical error, a survivor’s name was misspelled in the Thursday obituary for William Malinak. A corrected obituary appears in today’s InLife section.

Name wrong

Due to a reporter’s error, the first name of Brendan Chestnut was incorrect in Thursday’s Ferris-Mead cross country story that appeared in the Sports section.
