The Political Machine
Price: $20
The presidential campaign has come down to a narrow race in the final two weeks. Polls show the vote in Florida will be close so John Kerry decides to spend his entire media budget there.
Will the strategy work, or will Ohio voters feel slighted and swing to President Bush?
You can run that scenario and lots of others with “The Political Machine,” a new strategy game from Ubisoft that puts you in the role of campaign manager.
“The Political Machine,” rated “T” for teen, lets you build a team, then take it into battle against a computer-controlled opponent or against another player.
The game contains all of the tools that a real campaign manager would draw on, including polling data, fund-raising options, political activists and celebrities, endorsements from special interest groups, and access to press.
You can play a Bush-Kerry contest, use other current political figures or historical ones.
