Hispanic heritage dinners – In observance of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Hispanic/Latino Resource Center, El Centro de Spokane, will hold benefit dinners on Friday evenings through Oct. 15. The events will include Hispanic arts, crafts, music, guest speaker. Dinners, 6-8 p.m., at the East Central Community Center, 500 S. Stone, will each contain a theme and menu to reflect the diversity of Spokane’s Hispanic Community. Themes include: Central American, this Friday; Caribbean, Oct. 8; and Lain Festival, Oct. 15.
