St. Anne’s will open Monday

Parents interested in getting more information or touring the new St. Anne’s Children and Family Center should call 358-4250. Beginning Monday, calls should be made to 232-1111.

The $3.9 million center, 25 W. Fifth Ave., is opening Monday. A dedication ceremony with Bishop William Skylstad is scheduled for Oct. 11.

The center is 20,000 square feet and will accommodate approximately 190 children, infants through preschoolers. Enrollment will be made up of 75 percent private-pay children and 25 percent from state-pay families.

The 13 classrooms will have two caretakers each.

The building also will have two indoor play areas, three outdoor playgrounds and a rooftop play area. A commercial kitchen will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Full-time tuition, which means at least three days a week for up to 10 hours a day, is $695 a month for infants, $650 for toddlers and $595 for preschoolers.
