AARP/Tax Aide Volunteers – Spokane Tax-Aide is looking for volunteers with backgrounds in communications, public relations and computer skills. Training is provided and materials are free. Empowering Inc. – Volunteers are needed to help run children’s programs in the Spokane School District. Activities are experiential and include the arts, music and writing to teach teamwork, leadership and problem solving. For information, call Keith at 251-2328.
SpokAnimal CARE – Volunteers are needed to represent SpokAnimal at community events and fund-raisers. Activities include planning, making phone calls, mailings, set-up, tear down and evaluation. For more information, contact Laura at 534-8133.
Washington State-Division of Children and Family Service – Drivers are needed to aid in casework with children. Must provide own car with basic insurance and pass clearance. Equipment and reimbursement for mileage is provided. For information, contact Morton at 363-3552.
