Last year: Rusty Wallace snapped a 105-race winless drought by taking the Advance Auto Parts 500. It was Wallace’s first victory since April 29, 2001, at California Speedway.

Fast facts: Kyle Petty placed eighth at Bristol last weekend for his first top-10 finish since 2002. … Dale Earnhardt Jr. jumped to 17th in the standings with his fourth-place finish at Bristol.
