Feature creature
Long, floppy ears and a brindle coat turned out just right for this purebred Plott hound, but her breeder couldn’t do a thing about her heart. Treeing bears just isn’t in Pepper’s nature, as it would be for most with her pedigree. Bears make her tremble and attempts to toughen her left her gun shy and sheepish. She’ll dive into her doghouse at the sound of a raised voice. Pepper is quiet for a hound, housebroken, obedient and loves to wrestle with playmates. She prefers to be outside during the day and is content in a fenced yard. To learn more, call Second Chance Pet Rescue 664-4106 or visit www.petfinder.com/shelters/secondchancepetrescue.html.
