Brack Adkins earns scholarship
Brack Adkins, a 2005 graduate of Post Falls Christian Academy, recently received a $250 scholarship from the Newspaper Employee Scholarship Foundation. He plans to attend North Idaho College in the fall and study wildlife/recreation/resource management.
Adkins also has been named for inclusion in the 2005 editions of National Honor Roll and Who’s Who Among American High School Students.
He is the son of John and Sherry Adkins of Coeur d’Alene.
“Area Idaho high school students recently received renewable Foundation for Higher Education Scholarships from the Potlatch Corp. for the 2005-2006 academic year.
Recipients are selected based on financial need, scholastic achievement, character references and school and community involvement.

“Three area University of Idaho students were recently recognized by the UI Honors Program.
Eric Saueracker, Moscow, received the Honors Core Award after completing 19 credits of prescribed coursework in the UI Honors Program. He is studying mathematics.
Daniel Hunt, Moscow, and Fauna Samuel, Nordman, both received Honors Program Certificates after completing 27 honors credits. Hunt is a journalism and mass communication student, and Samuel is studying biological systems engineering and mathematics.
“ Melissa Monaghan and Catherine Jackson, both of Coeur d’Alene, have been named to the spring semester dean’s list at the University of Montana, Missoula.
Eligible students must earn a minimum 3.5 grade-point average and receive letter grades of A or B in at least nine credits.
“Two Sandpoint High School alumni have graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa.
Michelle Reina graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology and biology. She is the daughter of Mike and Betty Reina of Sandpoint.
Isaac Zentner received a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry and molecular biology. He is the son of Dr. Howard Zentner of Sandpoint.
