Vowels-Bautista

Mia Bautista of Moscow, Idaho, and Nathan Vowels of Princeton, Idaho, plan to marry at the end of this month in Palouse, Wash.

Patty Kudis, Makinen, Minn., and Rene Bautista, San Diego, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Mickey and Rodney Vowels, Princeton.

Bautista, a graduate of Concordia College and the University of Idaho, is employed in the prosecuting attorney’s office for Nez Perce County. A graduate of Lewis-Clark State College, Vowels owns and operates Nathan’s Painting, Interior and Exterior.

Stubbins-Bates

Jaime Bates and Erick Stubbins, both of Spokane Valley, plan to marry Aug. 20 in Las Vegas.

Robert and Phyllis Fulmer, Rochester, Wash., are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Ed and Maureen Stubbins, Rochester.

Bates is employed for the law office of Mary Ronnestad. A graduate of Centralia Community College, Stubbins works for Gonzaga University.

Montague-Johnston

Misti Johnston and Lincoln Montague, both of Coeur d’Alene, plan to marry Aug. 27 in Coeur d’Alene.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Joseph and Delores Johnston, Overton, Nev., and Plummer, Idaho. The groom-to-be is the son of Daniel Montague, Worley, Idaho, and the late Susan Montague.

The couple are both graduates of North Idaho College. Johnston is employed in the department of financing for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, and Montague works at Lakeside Electric.

McClelland-Gonzales

Stephanie Gonzales and Kevin McClelland, both of Coeur d’Alene, plan to marry Sept. 10 in Zephyr Cove, Nev.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dirk and Linda Schwartz, Coeur d’Alene, and Mike and Colleen Gonzales, Sacramento, Calif. The groom-to-be is the son of Gail McClelland, Spirit Lake, Idaho, and the late Scott McClelland.

Gonzales, a graduate of North Idaho College, works at Kootenai Medical Center. McClelland is employed at First Index.

Smith-Henjum

Samantha Henjum and Craig Smith, both of Tigard, Ore., plan to marry Oct. 8 in Spokane.

Steve and Nancy Henjum, Spokane, are parents of the bride-to-be. The groom-to-be is the son of Kirk and Connie Smith, Tigard.

Henjum is employed at Potomac Management Group, and the Smith owns and operates CES Construction.

Connolly-Mickelson

Jessica Mickelson and Gregory Connolly, both of Boston, plan to marry Oct. 8, in Spokane.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Ron and Rita Mickelson, Spokane. The groom-to-be is the son of the late Gerald and Marguerite Connolly.

A graduate of the University of Oregon, Mickelson is a graduate student at the New England College of Optometry. Connolly is a graduate of Boston College, where he is currently a graduate student in the business program, and is employed at Deltek.

Granlund-Watkins

Nancy Watkins of Valleyford and Dave Granlund of Ocean Shores, Wash., plan to marry Oct. 29 in Maui, Hawaii.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Helen Widman, Spokane, and the late Edgar Widman. The groom-to-be is the son of the late Edwin and Margaret Granlund.

A graduate of Spokane Falls Community College, Watkins works at Avista Corp. Granlund, who graduated from Eastern Washington University, is employed at Windermere.
