Somebody needs you
Somebody Needs You aims to match donors with needy Spokane residents. The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with social service agencies in Spokane.
If you have an item to donate, please contact the agency listed below. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated.
• Single mom with four children needs a bassinette, crib, bunk beds, dressers, and sofa or love seat. Contact Kim at YWCA, 326-1190, ext. 117.
• Low-income woman needs queen-size bedding. Contact Gail at SNAP, 487-1114.
• Disabled senior man needs a small couch or loveseat and a dresser. Contact Mary at Elder Services, 458-7450.
• Low-income woman needs a refrigerator. Contact Simone at Spokane Mental Health, 838-4651, ext. 2193.
• Low-income single mom with three children need beds, sheets, clothes, shoes and household items. Contact Clare at Lutheran Community Services, 343-5079.
• Single grandmother with two children needs school clothes and school supplies. Contact Mabel at VOA-Breakthrough for Families, 688-1118.
• Single teen mom with 2-year-old needs two beds, two dressers and a kitchen table. Contact Heidi at VOA-Breakthrough for Families, 688-1147.
