That would be enough to drive anyone crazy
Actress Scarlett Johansson was involved in an accident last week while trying to duck photographers who had tracked her to a Disneyland parking lot, her publicist said. It’s the latest in a series of incidents involving increasingly aggressive automotive maneuvers by celebrity-stalking paparazzi.
Johansson, 20, noticed four sport utility vehicles following her to the amusement park, publicist Marcel Pariseau said. When she swerved trying to get away from them, he said, she clipped a car carrying a woman and her two daughters.
“She saw one photographer come out of his car and start snapping away,” Pariseau said.
A photo agency owner said none of the SUVs was near Johansson when the accident occurred.
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office is investigating whether paparazzi are initiating confrontations to capture lucrative photos.
In May, a photographer allegedly rammed his car into Lindsay Lohan‘s Mercedes while seeking a shot.
Bo idled again
“American Idol” runner-up Bo Bice is recovering from emergency surgery last week that has knocked him off the “American Idols Live” tour.
His official condition has not been divulged, although Bice’s message board mentions a “kink” in his intestines.
He had been performing in a cast since breaking his foot July 31 and was sidelined by food poisoning earlier this month.
He’ll soon be back to his bubbly old self
Hawaiian crooner Don Ho has been released from a Honolulu hospital three days after he was admitted with shortness of breath.

Better leave those videos at home
Chart-topping R&B singer R. Kelly has been named as one of the performers for Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards Show in Miami.

Also performing on the show will be Kelly Clarkson, Green Day, 50 Cent, Shakira, Mariah Carey, The Killers and Kanye West, among others. Hip-hop mogul Diddy (formerly P. Diddy, etc.) hosts.
And Eminem’s mouth, not his hands
Spin magazine lists the 25 “most incredible” rock star body parts in its September issue.
Madonna‘s navel, which “first marked her as a mainstream provocateur,” tops the list.
At No. 2 is the liver of the Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards, which is so durable, Spin says, that “when Richards finally passes, they’ll line the exterior of the space shuttle with his liver tissue.”
R.E.M. singer Michael Stipe‘s oft-shaved skull comes in third, due to a hairline that’s “not too high like Moby‘s or too low” like Sinead O’Connor‘s.
Other body parts cited include Elvis Presley‘s hip-shaking pelvis, Gene Simmons‘ tongue, Tina Turner‘s legs, 50 Cent‘s chest and Bruce Springsteen‘s behind.
