Paws & Claus – NorthTown Mall presents an opportunity to have your pet’s picture taken with Santa Claus. Tuesdays through Dec. 13. 6-8 p.m., NorthTown Mall, 4750 N. Division St. 482-0209, ext. 203.

Holiday Wienerfest Fund-raiser for Dachshund Rescue NW – Join members of the Dachshund Club of Spokane for our holiday dog party on Dec. 11 at 3:30 p.m. at Lilac City Dog Training Club, 1612 E. Houston Ave., north of Francis Avenue. $5/family. 482-6025. Dachshunds only, please. This is a potluck so please bring a dish for 10-plus people. Leave home any aggressive or unhealthy dogs. Bring shot records for your dog if you have never attended our other events. Ag Expo – Jan. 17-19. More than 250 exhibitors, bio-energy pavilion, cattle exhibits, photography contest, ag expo parade and Internet cafe. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 17-19. Spokane Convention Center. $10/adults, $6/age 12-18, free/under age 12.

Second Annual Morgan Horse Open House – This free event will teach the audience about the history of the Morgan horse breed.
