Students seek stories on Logan heroes
Students from Logan Elementary are looking for stories about famous and not so famous local heroes who grew up or lived in the Logan neighborhood.
They can be someone who became well-known for an accomplishment or individuals who have helped others.
They may be successful business people; someone who became a soldier or those who have overcome a challenge.
The stories will be used to create a documentary and book celebrating the accomplishments of the Logan school and neighborhood.
Students will use $65,000 worth of technology equipment Logan received through a grant from the Beaumont Foundation of America in October.
If you have a story, write Vicki Soderberg at Logan Elementary, 1001 E. Montgomery Ave., Spokane, WA 99207; send e-mail to vickiso@spokaneschools.org; or call her at 354-3480.
