The following nonprofit organizations need volunteer help. If you’re interested, please contact them directly:

The North Idaho College Adult Basic Education Center: needs volunteers to work with individual assigned students one to two hours a week at either the Post Falls or Coeur d’Alene center. Generally this is basic tutoring. Kim Cheeley, 676-8005.

The Post Falls Hospice Thrift Shop: needs volunteers for sorting, general duties, lifting and possibly cashiering. Men are encouraged to apply. Three-hour shifts once a week, Monday through Saturday. Call 772-7994 or 773-8534 and ask for Joanne.

Young Life: a nonprofit, nondenominational Christian outreach organization for junior and senior high school students, needs volunteer leaders. Contact Kevin Longmeier, 661-4724.

Lake City Playhouse: Volunteers needed to work at performances in exchange for a free show. Needed are box office help, concession sales and ushers. Call Bekkah, 667-1323.
