Central Valley senior Heidi Heintz was one of four players who signed national letters of intent Tuesday to play for the University of San Francisco women’s basketball team in 2006-07.
The 5-foot-10 forward earned All-Greater Spokane League honors in 2005 and honorable mention the previous season. She has also won a WIAA sportsmanship award and carries a 4.0 grade-point average.
“Heidi Heintz is a small forward who loves to rebound and do little things to help her teammates,” USF head coach Mary Hile-Nepfel said in a press release issued by the school. “She is a very unselfish player who will do anything to help her team win games.”
