Signing Santa pancake breakfast – 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Manito United Methodist Church, 3220 S. Grand Blvd., sponsored by the Spokane County Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. Area Winter Birds slides presentation – The Spokane Audubon Society hosts a slide presentation on birds that winter in the area, 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverview Retirement Center, 1801 N. Upriver Drive, with host Spokane Audubon Society.
