The Arc of Spokane has hired Kate Jackson as advocacy and family support assistant. She has 15 years of experience working with the disabled at Lakeland Village, Community Access, Goodwill and the Muscular Dystrophy Association summer camp.

Dr. Justin P. Smith has been hired as a diagnostic radiologist at Inland Imaging Associates. He is a graduate of the University of Washington and has recently been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

Preston, Gates & Ellis has hired Brooke Castle Kuhl in the practice of commercial litigation. She previously served as a clerk for Justice John Warner on the Montana Supreme Court.

F&M Bank has hired Don Anderson as vice president/private banking officer. He previously worked as a vice president/relationship manager in California.

Mike Jackson has been hired at bankcda as vice president and commercial loan officer. He previously worked at AmericanWest Bank in St. Maries and Kellogg, Idaho and has over 23 years of banking experience.

Debbie Costa has been hired as a skin care specialist at Northern Highlight Salon in Hayden. She has 10 years of experience in waxing, anti-aging, facials and body treatments.

Foundation Northwest has hired PJ Watters as director of planned giving. She previously worked as director of communications and development at Morning Star Boys Ranch and has over 20 years of experience working in nonprofit organizations.

Debra Wilde has been hired as a real estate agent at Exit Real Estate-Jones & Associates. Wilde also works at the KXLY Broadcast Group.

Hampton Inn Spokane has hired Beth Anne King as sales manager. She previously worked for Spokane International Airport as business park manager.

Foundation Northwest has hired Diane Leigland as director of marketing and communications/program coordinator. She is a graduate of Gonzaga University and holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership.

Keri McFarland has been hired as a sales associate in the Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate. She was previously the lead receptionist at Valley Rockwood Clinic.

The Spokane Valley office of Windermere Real Estate has hired Debbie Whitton as a sales associate. She previously worked as an educational assistant for the Central Valley School District.

Rick Lindberg has been hired at Wilbert Precast Inc. Lindberg will be involved in sales and design of the company’s Redi-Rock line.

Global Credit Union has hired John Pomada to be in charge of the Global Tri-Cities Financial Center. Pomada has over 33 years of banking experience and holds a bachelor’s degree in business from Eastern Washington University.

Matthew Hughes has been hired as vice president of exploration at HuntMountain Resources. He has over 17 years of experience and previously worked as chief geologist at Mundoro Mining Inc.

Bill Bremer has been promoted to director of loss prevention at Payne Financial Group. He has 25 years of experience in risk management and regulatory compliance and holds a doctorate in accident pathology.

Sterling Savings Bank has promoted Ryan Petrik to vice president. He has been with the bank since 2001 and has worked in the financial industry for over 10 years.

KUDOS

Alex Plummer accepted the 2005 Independent Retailer Global Electronic Marketing Award at the Global Electronic Marketing Conference. Plummer is vice president of marketing at Tidyman’s, which received this award for its excellence in electronic marketing and its “Crazy Prices” program.

The Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce recently elected the following officers to its board: Bryan Ogle, chairman; Tim Komberec, chair-elect; Barb Bradley, treasurer; Ben Wolfinger, past chairman; and Mark Fisher, Kent Propst and Rich Ronnestad, vice chairmen.

GIFTS

The Spokane Advertising Federation recently held its annual Charity Golf Tournament to raise funds for Project Share. The tournament raised over $4,000 to help needy families pay for electric, coal, wood, propane and natural gas.

Avista Corp. recently contributed $200,000 to Project Share.

Mobius Kids, the hands-on children’s museum at River Park Square, recently received $10,000 from the Wal-Mart Foundation.

Northwest Specialty Hospital recently donated $150,000 to nursing and radiography technology labs at North Idaho College.
