Entries being accepted for Seattle indie film fest

Aspiring filmmakers from across the state are invited to submit their work to Seattle’s True Independent Film Festival. The festival will showcase unique and offbeat Northwest filmmakers with diverse genres.

There is no entry fee for Washington state residents; the entry from those outside the state will be $15-$50, depending on the film’s length.

The preferred format is DVD, but the festival will try to accommodate the format of the filmmaker.

Entry forms are available at the festival’s Web site, www.stiff2006.com, and submissions must be received by March 15.

The festival will take place the weekend of June 2 through 4 in downtown Seattle.

For information, visit the Web site.
