Stronger ‘Martha’ renewed
Martha Stewart’s daytime talk show, “Martha,” has been renewed for a second season.
It wasn’t a certainty that “Martha” – produced by famed reality show honcho Mark Burnett – would return, but its ratings have improved recently, and several stations carrying the show have two-year contracts. (It can be seen weekdays at 6 p.m. on TLC, cable channel 38 in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene.)
The renewal gives Stewart a .500 batting average in her post-prison television comeback. Her version of “The Apprentice,” a spinoff of the Donald Trump reality series, ends next Wednesday.
