Zebbie Ellingson has been hired as an agent at Exit Real Estate-Jones & Associates. She previously was co-owner of Sta-Fit and also worked as an office nurse.

ALSC Architects has hired Robin Kudirka as an interior designer. She is a 2005 graduate of Washington State University.

Re/Max of Spokane Real Estate has hired Sandy Talento as an agent. She previously worked in Las Vegas and specializes in luxury homes and mid-level houses.

Rick Shauvin has been hired at Moloney O’Neill as a sales executive in commercial insurance. He has over 26 years of experience and is a graduate of Western Washington University.

Country Insurance & Financial Services has hired Lisa Fortney as an agent.

Linda Jones has been hired as director of corporate communications at Avista Corp. She previously worked at Grant County PUD in Ephrata, Wash. Jones is a graduate of Washington State University.

Washington Trust Bank has hired Phil Von Buchwaldt as vice president/commercial lending. He previously worked as assistant vice president of international banking at Comerica Bank in San Jose, Calif.

Shane McFetridge has been hired at the law office of Paine, Hamblen, Coffin, Brooke & Miller as an associate. He is a graduate of Gonzaga University School of Law.

Dr. Hardhipriya Sudarsnam has been hired at Valley Family Physicians. She is a graduate of and completed an internship at B.J. Medical College. She also completed an internship and residency at Family Medicine Spokane. She has been accepted for membership in the Spokane County Medical Society.

Tim Wilkes has been promoted to assistant vice president of Action Mortgage Company. He has been with the company for over 10 years as a construction loan officer.

Sharma Dutton has been promoted to regional manager of DMD, a nonprofit high school exchange program.

Roger Flint, director of the City of Spokane Public Works & Utilities department, has received the American Public Works Association (Washington Chapter) Roy Morse Award for Outstanding Professional Accomplishment and the Washington City/County Management Association’s Award of Excellence.

Platter’s Pharmacy in the Rockwood Clinic has received the Good Neighbor Pharmacy Pharmacist of the Year Award. Scott Louderback is the owner of the pharmacy.

Richard Magnuson of Wallace, Idaho has received the Professionalism Award from the First Judicial District of the Idaho State Bar.

Patty Shea has been appointed by Gov. Christine Gregoire to a five-year term on Community Colleges of Spokane’s Board of Trustees.

Karen Feltes has been elected to senior vice president of the board of directors of Avista Corp.
