Benefit event – Christian Youth Theater is hosting a benefit to raise money to help replace costumes and sets lost in a recent fire, 6 p.m. Dec. 28 at The Met downtown. The evening, titled “Encore, Encore! The Stars are Out Tonight,” showcases numbers from last season’s shows and a live and silent auction. Tickets are $20, call 487-6540 for reservations.
