The Spokesman-Review

Arizona coach Lute Olson opined that the conference is unlikely to get five NCAA Tournament bids if conference play results in teams beating up on one another, as was the case last season. … Oregon State is trying to help its top player, Nick DeWitz, after the forward struggled with turnovers in recent games. Head coach Jay John said he wants DeWitz to either shoot or pass within two seconds after catching the ball in the perimeter, as his hesitance has led to mistakes. … USC’s RouSean Cromwell could miss as many as eight weeks because of a right foot fracture, head coach Tim Floyd said. Cromwell has been the Trojans’ second-leading rebounder thus far.
