Here’s the list of First Night visual arts venues. All demonstrations and displays run from 7 to 11:40 p.m.

“Albatross Studio, Ridpath Empire Room Foyer, 515 W. Sprague Ave. – Painting and boat construction demonstrations.

“Avenue West Gallery, 1021 W. First Ave. (adults only) – Arts and crafts by Inland Northwest artisans.

“Bank of America Financial Center, 601 W. Riverside Ave. – Caricatures by Tom Quinn; Inland Empire Bonsai Society demonstrations.

“Chase Gallery, City Hall, 808 W. Spokane Blvd. – Landscape paintings by Kim Matthews Wheaton.

“DoubleTree Hotel, 322 N. Spokane Falls Court – Quilting demonstration by Nan Drye; paintings by Natalye McCafferty.

“Eastern Washington University Downtown Spokane Center, 705 W. First Ave. – Mixed media art by Felisa Carranza.

“GoodWorks Gallery, 1019 W. First Ave. – Celebrate all the artists in the gallery.

“Former Homestead Birkenstock store, second level, Main and Wall – Paintings by E.L. Stewart and Darrell Sullens.

“Holley-Mason Building, 157 S. Howard St. – Make your own ministained glass objects; origami figures with Mina Smith.

“Interplayers, 174 S. Howard St. – Eastern Washington University art students; photograph exhibit reflecting 25 years of Interplayers theater.

“Masonic Temple, 1108 W. Riverside Ave. – Creative Memories, scrapbooking techniques.

“Montvale Hotel, 1005 W. First Ave. – Sculptures in chocolate.

“Former Music City Building, 1011 W. First Ave. (adults only) – Make your own paper bag hat; “Your Hands on Canvas” with District and Jamie Hyams; help paint a canvas for a public works display.

“Outdoors on Wall Street and Main Avenue – Inland Northwest Glass Guild with glass artist Conrad Bagley at Wheatland Bank; Michael Noble Ice Sculpture; old-style blacksmithing by Tim Kaaufman; wood carver Hank Chiappetta; metal welders.

“Red Sky Gallery, 115 S. Adams St. (adults only) – local clay artists.

“Ridpath Hotel, 515 W. Sprague Ave. – Empire Room Foyer: Jack N. Smith art objects; scenes of nature and flowers by Peters and Sons Florists.

“River Park Square, 808 W. Main Ave. – First floor: painting demonstrations by Irene Dahl and Lorraine Krank, Balloon Bonanza. Second floor: Color Me Mine ceramics. Third floor: Kress Gallery, behind Food Court, paintings by local artists; Lydia Quinones’ spinning and weaving demonstration.

“Riverfront Park – Raku firing; participate in other hands-on clay fun.

“Spokane Public Library, 906 W. Main Ave. – Karen Mobley’s heron paintings; Coalition of Responsible Disabled display a variety of artworks.

“Spokane Transit Authority Plaza, 701 W. Riverside Ave. – Art cars; grab a brush and help paint a giant Firestone tire; Northwest Papier Mache Guild; Glass Gods demonstrating torch working, beads and other glass items; Cindy and Chuck Summers demonstrate glass fusing; TIERS of Joy, food as art; artist Tim Lords.

“Wells Fargo Bank building, Riverside and Howard – Futile Faerie: handmade cloth fairies and fabrication demonstrations; Wonder Russell’s painting demonstration.
