Girl Scouts – is looking for adults to serve as mentors and role models to Girl Scout Troops by becoming a leader. Must be 18 years of age and registered as a Girl Scout member. Training is required and available; background check is mandatory. Contact Janet Davis at 747-8091, ext. 214 for more information. Girl Scouts is also seeking product sales team volunteers to assist in planning and implementation of cookie sale program. Volunteers are asked to register as a Girl Scout; contact Lori King at 747-8091, ext. 211 for more information.

Volunteers of America – needs volunteers to work one night per week from 5-9 p.m. with the Crosswalk program for homeless teenagers. Participants will provide support and supervision to teens between the ages of 13-17. Receptionists, clothing room attendants, janitorial and clerical volunteers are also needed. Goodwill Industries – is looking for ABC Discovery Child Care Center volunteers. Spend time reading and providing educational entertainment to children. Must be at least 18-years old; Washington State Patrol background check is required. Contact Nichole Bogarosh at 344-0161 for more information.

House of Charity – needs volunteers for the reception area during the day; drivers to pick-up donated food for four hours one morning per week; and men to work 6-9 p.m., one evening per month, to hand out towels and pajamas for the Emergency Winter Sleeping Program.
