Sedro Woolley had four first-place finishers to win the 34-team Pacific Northwest Wrestling Championships on Friday in Battle Ground, Wash., by 68 points over University.

Sedro Woolley finished with 217 1/2 points, U-Hi finished second with 149 1/2 and River Ridge placed third with 125 1/2 .

Nick Zumwalt was one of three U-Hi finalists, losing 6-4 in overtime to Justin Schuele of Evergreen.

Mike Malsam (119 pounds) and Dono Totten (275) also reached the finals of their respective weight classes.

Elliott Nay finished fifth at 140, and Andrew Peterson placed sixth at 189 for the Titans.

“Led by champions Robert Spackman and Ryan Desroches, Riverside won the 17-school Royal Christmas Tournament in Royal City, Wash. The Rams finished with 182 points, beating Othello by 18 1/2 and Castle Rock by 22. Newport finished in 10th place with 80 points.

Spackman defeated Don Cantu of Othello 11-0 to win the 125 final, while Desroches beat Kevin Ryan of Castle Rock 7-3 to win at 160.
