Tenth-ranked Pullman owns the league boys basketball lead, but Riverside will have a chance to pull into a tie Saturday night in Chattaroy. In their first meeting on Jan. 14, the Greyhounds (10-4, 5-1) defeated Riverside (10-5, 5-2) 52-40 in Pullman. On the girls side, Friday night brings a meeting between state-ranked teams, No. 5 Chewelah (14-2, 7-1) at No. 6 Lakeside-Nine Mile Falls (12-3, 5-2). Chewelah dealt the Eagles a 16-point loss on Jan. 8.
