“All in The Timing” Opens today with a 6 p.m gala and curtain time at 7 p.m. at the Lake City Playhouse. This is a Black Box production directed by Lee Ja Junker and is intended for mature audiences. Cost: $7. Additional shows Friday, Saturday and Sunday, next Thursday, and Feb. 11-12. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8 p.m.; Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Information: 667-1323.

Sparkling Spur Youth Writing Contest Entries are being accepted for the contest from all North Idaho students in grades 4-12. Students may enter short stories with an American West theme. All entries must be unpublished and original. Enter at www.westernwriters.org /youthwritingcontest.htm.

LEAP Logger’s Education will be offered in March in Deary, Coeur d’Alene, St. Maries, Orofino and Bonners Ferry. Registration fee of $38 covers materials and refreshments.
