Assuming no upsets occur in their final two league basketball games, the Freeman boys (15-2, 4-0) and girls (14-2, 4-0) will be top-seeded teams in the district tournament. In the boys’ race, second-place teams Kettle Falls (10-8, 2-2) and Colfax (7-11, 2-2) battle in the final round of league play on Feb. 12. Kettle Falls looks to have the edge to finish second, considering Colfax still has to face Freeman on Friday and lost previously to Kettle Falls.
